Mani & Sunny's Sikh Wedding

When Mani and Sunny contacted me to cover their wedding and events, I was ready to take this opportunity to shoot a Sikh wedding ceremony. From the moment I met the couple, to the first shot captured at the pre-wedding shoot, I knew this was going to be a great occasion to photograph as the couple were totally at ease in front of the camera.
Everything from the Chunni Ceremony to the After Wedding reception was beautifully decorated with the use of bold vibrant colours, making it a pleasure to shoot. Being part of this ceremony was both humbling and exciting. I was able to see yet another way a couple can join in holy matrimony, and I wish Mani and Sunny a long and happy marriage.

Akruti & Raj's Wedding at Oshwal Centre

Akruti & Raj's Wedding at Oshwal Centre

I first met Akruti at a local fair where I was exhibiting. After a follow-up meeting with the couple, they asked me to cover their engagement ceremony in 2016. I had an amazing time capturing the event and getting to know both sides of the family. Both sides of the family were very welcoming, and I felt right at home!

I was naturally very excited when they asked me to be part of their big day in March 2017! I was very impressed when Akruti told me that she is decorating her events and creating her centrepieces by using reclaimed wood from the local forest. Her aim was to create a nature inspired wedding decor by causing the least impact on the environment, and the results were stunning. Just have a look at some of the images from the wedding.

Mili & Bally's Story

Last year I had the pleasure to cover Milly & Bally wedding. Usually Indian weddings in the UK are 2-3 days but they had 5 days planned, (6 if you count the pre-wedding shoot). I hope you all enjoy Mili & Bally's story, I will let my photography do the talking now.

{Milly & Bally's Pre-wedding Shoot - University of Hertfordshir & Sopwell Nunnery }

Mili & Bally were having a hard time picking a location for their pre-wedding shoot so I asked them how they first met. It turns out that they both met each other at university. So we started the shoot at their university grounds visiting all the places they use to meet and hang out.

We were limited to time at the university so I suggested that we visit the Sopwell Nunnery in St Albans to finish off the shoot.

Shree Kadwa Patidar Samaj Centre

{ Kadwa Patidar Centre Kenmore Ave, Harrow, Middlesex HA3 8LU }

Kadwa Patidar Centre or most commonly known as the KP centre, is known to be one of the most popular wedding venues in Harrow. Apart from its large guest capacity, the large roof light window gives the venue interesting warm natural light.

This venue has a special meaning to me and my family. That’s because I am due to tie the knot here on 9th July 2016! In case you’re wondering, I am not going shooting my own wedding! So everytime I find myself at KP I am always trying new angles, trying out different lighting techniques so I can share some notes to my wedding photographer.

I bet you’re wondering who will be shooting my wedding? I've got the pleasure to have my wedding photography covered by my photography Guru Mr Tim Spiers. Tim and I go way back when I was a college student and I managed to impress him with my amerture photography skill and he took me on as his assistant then then eventually his second photographer and then few years later he was letting me take my own weddings. I started to develop my own style and I’ve never looked back!

After a serious accident Tim changed his career path but not as much as you may think. He started his own product photography company in King's cross and it's been keeping him really busy. It's safe to say that my wedding may be his last wedding he will be covering as a wedding photographer so I am really exited and can't wait for the big day to arrive!

After booking the venue, the venue's chairman asked me to cover his daugher's engagement and they loved my work so I am also covering her wedding next year. They've even recently reached out to me and asked me to take some images for them to display on their new website and here's the results!
